KUALA LUMPUR (July 15): Nexgram Holdings Bhd has received Putrajaya's nod for its digital system TracAPM to be commissioned as the official digital system for the quarantine management of inbound travellers.
In a statement today, Nexgram said the services include travellers' quarantine management at all international borders, quarantine station management, and quarantine transport management.
The official acceptance was received by Tri-G Technologies Sdn Bhd, an indirect 51%-owned subsidiary of Nexgram.
"TracAPM official travel pass SafeTravelPass provides Covid-19 quarantine entry registration and quarantine station payment for all travellers coming into Malaysia," Nexgram said.
The system, it said, supports the core functions of the Malaysia Civil Defence Force.
Its functions include tracking travellers' movements at quarantine stations in real time, assisting in overall workflow, and monitoring travellers' check-in and check-out at quarantine centres.
It will also allow registration and control of travellers at the Hotspot Identification for Dynamic Engagement (HIDE) locations.
Additionally, Covid-19 extermination agents can carry out registration of vaccination and monitor data on related supplies.
It also ties with the digital travel pass system dubbed SafeTravelPass, which Nexgram said is coherent with international digital travel passes registered with OnepassWorld.
Travellers can now conveniently access SafeTravelPass (https://safetravelpass.com.my) for Covid-19 entry registration, directly book and pay for Covid-19 quarantine hotels and services online at official rates, the company added.
TracAPM was launched by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on March 24 under a trial run, and was accepted and fully used by the government on June 21, it said.
The system was officially handed over to the government yesterday (July 14), it added.
