Power and Poetry

Legendary pianist Mikhail Pletnev plays with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra in Power and Poetry. Tomorrow evening at 8.30pm, Fabio Mechetti will conduct the orchestra through Beethoven’s Fidelio Overture and Piano Concerto No 3, as well as Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra. Patriotism and Joyful Sacrifice

Catch the 17th chapter of the Selangor Philharmonic Orchestra’s performance. The title for this instalment is Patriotism and Joyful Sacrifice. Tomorrow at 8pm, the orchestra will play Suppe’s Light Cavalry Overture, Paganini’s Violin Concerto No 1, and Beethoven’s Symphony No 7.
